What we do
IBANAPI validates IBANs, BIC/SWIFT codes and bank details through a simple API, a free IBAN checker and a self-hosted edition.
- IBAN validation. Structure, length and checksum checks for every country in the official SWIFT IBAN registry.
- Bank data. Bank name, BIC, address and SEPA reachability, built from central bank registries, SWIFT and SEPA data, and manual review. See how we source our data.
- Account-level validation. National account checksum rules, including UK modulus checking and German account validation.
